This event was organized on May 1, 2009 at the press conference hall of Press Institute. It was agreed by a team of journalism experts that we should give the journalism students an opportunity to express their opinions and deliver their voices to the society what they want as future journalists.  An Organizing Committee’s working group consisted of 10 students representing Journalist College of the Press Institute, Mongolian State University, University of Education and “Soyol Erdem” College and some staffs of the Globe International NGO.

The students told about WPFD history and the working group students was carrying the small posters telling the facts of journalists’ rights violations around the world provided by the Reporters’ without Borders, the Word Association of Newspapers and Committee to Protect Journalists.
Students and teachers of 12 of about 20 universities and colleges training journalists took part in the meeting and discussion and gave their voice to the “Fair Journalism”

The following journalism schools’ representatives presented their works.  The students prepared their slogans that expressed their thoughts about the present situation of media and journalism and displayed with cartoons and pictures.
